Have you been to Prague? Did you visit Foodlab Restaurant in Prague? If you haven’t I’m pretty sure it’s at the top of your travel bucket list. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe because of its unique medieval architecture. Let’s see some of the reason why you have to stop by Foodlab Restaurant.
Disclosure: This post is a collaboration with FoodLab Restaurant. I only recommend products and services I have used and the opinions expressed here are my own.
Location: The restaurant is in Haštaská 4, Prague One. It’s in the beautiful old town part of Prague surrounded by most of the places you must see and visit yet it’s quiet in it’s own elegant way.
The Service: Most restaurants in Prague are known for cutting corners and Foodlab is definitely not one of them. Besides the warmth and friendliness of the waiters and waitresses here, I was impressed by how well they know their menu and could patiently recommend a good meal. I say patiently because I’m one of those annoying people who never know what dish to order in a restaurant and often rely on the person serving me to suggest something.
Let’s get to the menu: I’m still drooling as I’m writing cause the food that was recommended to us was out of this world. Photos and words cannot explain how delicious the marinated mango and beetroot salad was. I love food but I have never tasted this kind of mix in my life. I guess that’s why this place is called Foodlab. We requested a vegan option on the side which was Chicpea and Tofu salad.
Don’t let your eye be bigger than your stomach cause this food is filling.
How fabulous is it to get your drinks in an Erlenmeyer Flask 🙂
Interior: Don’t you just love how this place looks? It creates a calm ambiance. You have the option of sitting outside, inside, or hide all the way inside the 75 seats open space restaurant.
Timings: They open at 8:00-11:00am for breakfast, 11:30-16:00 for lunch, and 16:30- 22:00 which is the last meal order but the bar is open till late. Check all the accurate timings on Foodlab Restaurant
There’s this little area upstairs that I would recommend to a group of 5 people or more.
Child Friendly? They have a children’s play area which was under maintenance when I was there but if you’re a parent with kids, this is the place to be.
Piano Lounge is my favourite. If you look at the booklet below or on Foodlab Restaurant , you can see which event you would like to attend at the Piano Lounge.
Here is a short video of the Piano Lounge.

This looks so gorgeous and like so much fun! Plus, I’m a sucker for any place that will pour drinks in an Erlenmeyer flask!
I am all for it too 🙂
I want to visit Prague so badly. It would be such a beautiful place to eat and these pictures really showcase that. Also, the food looks so amazing!!!
This place also looks good for team out lunch or something. Prague is a great place , good to know about this neat restaurant.
I have not been to Food Lab. Nor have I been to Prague. Nor the Czech Republic. This looks like the type of place you’d see in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia or Long Island City in New York.
