We found another hidden gem in Czech Republic. This place is small and way calmer that any other spa town I’ve visited. When Revelton Františkovy Lázně suggested that I should visit their hotel in this town, I was thrilled by the invite but wasn’t sure what to expect in a small town. I’m glad it all happened because I can now say Františkovny Lázně has replaced Karlovy Vary when it comes to my favourite getaway spa town.
Disclosure: This post is part of a collaboration with Revelton Hotel who kindly sponsored my stay. I only recommend products and services I have used and the opinions expressed here are my own.
Quoting Wiki, “Františkovy Lázně is a spa town in Cheb District of Karlovy Vary Region, in the Czech Republic. Together with neighbouring Karlovy Vary and Mariánské Lázně, it is part of the renowned West Bohemian Spa Triangle. The historic town centre, under monumental protection since 1992, was nominated for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage roster”.
Revelton is one of my favourite hotels to partner with because any feedback I have received from people who visited any of their hotel after reading Revelton Suites, Karlovy Vary and Revelton Studios Karlovy Vary has been positive. Their hygiene cannot be faulted and the price is pocket friendly. Revelton Františkovy Lázně offers stylish rooms with several functional areas such as kitchen, dining, and relaxation area to provide you with comfort.
The decor is a beautiful blend of comfortable furniture, warm, clean colors, rich fabrics, gentle stylish lighting, that gives an overall chic minimalist feeling.
Is there a charge for Wi-Fi? Wi-Fi is free
Service? They are friendly, helpful, and always available when you need a help.
The hotel corridors is creatively designed with each room representing a city. The Kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, toaster, cooking pots, microwave, coffee maker and any basic requirement.
The bed was so comfortable with variety of pillows. If you are more than two, there is a sofa bed which blends so well in the room as a sofa . Our room interior was all about Budapest.
As usual in all of Revelton’s hotels, we had a fully equipped bathroom with washing machine, fresh towels and a hair dryer.
We had a beautiful view of the little church just outside our little french-like balcony.
If you love reading or just want to relax outside your room but not outside the hotel, there’s a spacious lounge on the first floor and a cafe on the ground floor right at the hotel entrance.
Don’t forget to check out Fatamorgana illusion museum which is complimentary during your stay.
What’s good about the town? Františkovny Lázně is a spa town based on natural mineral springs. People visit spas to take the mineral waters for their health benefits. Spa towns have resorts offering hydrotherapy.
